Manufacturer of computer power supply SilverStone announced that the new series of Strider power supply was certified as 80Plus, which means that all power supplies thus certified for the regimes of work of 20%, 50% and 100% load, provides a minimum efficiency of 80% or greater.
New models in the series are ST50F, ST40F and ST35F power line 500, 400 and 350 watts, which means that they are intended for average users, and less focused on the users with the fields of disk drives and SLI or CrossFire configurations. The devices are designed to work very quietly thanks to a 120-millimeter fan slow rotation, and to maintain high efficiency and ambience temperature to 50 degrees.
Recommended prices for the European market are from 35 to 55 euros, depending on the model.
